Coaches Information

In order to be permitted at matside, Certified Coaches are required to register at athlete’s registration or at the tournament site. Each club will be permitted 2 coaches’ badges. One coach - per mat - per competitor. Coaches are invited to attend the referee clinic held Friday night (see information below). Additional information can be obtained from the Tournament Directors.
There will be a coaches meeting Saturday and Sunday 8:30 am at Lincoln High School

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

• ALL COACHES AND/OR PARENTS SHOULD VERIFY THEIR ATHLETES WEIGH IN SLIP BEFORE SUBMITTING FOR COMPETITION.
• ALL COACHES SHOULD CHECK THEIR ATHLETES DIVISIONS IN THE LIBERTY BELL HOSPITALITY SUITE (ROOM # TO BE POSTED) ONE HOUR AFTER THE CONCLUSION OF WEIGH INS.
• ALL DIVISIONS WILL BE POSTED OUTSIDE THE SUITE AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.

Referee Information

All candidates must show up for the clinic and register at that time for the test.
Candidates must:

1. Attend the clinic Friday night (7 - 8:30 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel)
2. Have proof of the following- age (18 and over), rank (shodan or higher), current USJI member, certificate of regional referee (minimum one year), US Citizenship or Permanent Legal Alien status
3. $20 Examination fee and $20 certification fee, if passed
4. Records of last three years officiating and referee clinics attended
5. Two passport-size photos (2" x 2") taken in referee attire or digital photos (JPEG or GIF) on floppy disk or as an email attachment sent to refsec@cox.net
